Koleksi 327 adalah satu bagian dari inventaris URL eksternal Vertrica dan saat ini memuat 200 referensi pada 95 hostname. Struktur batch memungkinkan kumpulan URL dalam jumlah besar dipisahkan menjadi halaman yang lebih ringan, memiliki tautan previous/next, dan dapat ditemukan dari hub direktori utama. Pola ini juga memudahkan pemantauan kapan crawler mengunjungi halaman koleksi tertentu.

Tidak ada asumsi mengenai isi dari setiap URL. Link mungkin berasal dari berbagai jenis situs, layanan catatan, profil, wiki, dokumen, blog, atau halaman lainnya. Karena itu plugin tidak membuat deskripsi berbasis topik dan tidak melakukan remote title detection. Cara Menggunakan Direktori

Naked URL digunakan sebagai anchor agar alamat tujuan terlihat jelas. Pemeriksaan HTTP opsional dapat membantu menandai 404 atau 410, namun daftar tidak akan otomatis menghapus URL hanya karena server sementara lambat atau menolak HEAD request. Pengaturan ini membantu menjaga input sebagai inventaris URL, bukan sebagai katalog konten yang dikurasi.

Catatan Crawl dan Indexing

Halaman koleksi tetap merupakan halaman internal Vertrica dan dapat dicantumkan pada sitemap resource, feed perubahan terbaru, serta antrean IndexNow internal. Semua sinyal tersebut ditujukan ke halaman Vertrica sendiri. Setelah crawler membuka halaman ini, link eksternal tersedia untuk ditemukan melalui HTML, tetapi tidak ada mekanisme yang dapat memaksa mesin pencari untuk mengindeks destination URL.
